Looking into getting a Bob Long...

I'm looking into buying my first high-end marker sometime in the next year and I would like you guys' input. Please put why you chose the marker you did.

PS: I'm thinking of the Russian Legion LE.

if you can afford it go with the RL cuz those are sexy.
protege's are good too and less expensive,and the rapper also looks great and will shoot great.

any choice above will perform great so you really couldnt go wrong w/ any of em'

Closer High for the high end of the spectrum
Marq 6 for the middle
protege for the bottom.

5th gen timmies are awesome but just getting one shooting when they go down can be a real hassle.

The real business with marq's is that you really want to have an opening to the LPR right below the grip so you can use the LPR tester easily. The closer has that.

With any of these guns you'll want an lpr tester.

Somewhere in the next year, new guns will come out, guns noones ever heard of will come out, and prices will drop.
Id say just work your but of getting money and after the new 09 guns come out, you can buy them all

^my thoughts exactly, but since he wont i will, get a used 06 or 07 borg (or new if you can afford it) he reccomended it to me, and well lets just say <3 tim for suggesting it, once i got it in working order( took me a while cuz im the beggest nube ever on EP guns,cept for ions and such) but it shot BA

also, why do you want a nice, easy to screw up in the woods, speedball gun?

I'll look at the borgs again than, thanks. I want one to A)satisfy my trigger-happiness and B)play a machine gun type role (suppressive/covering fire).

EDIT: I looked at the 07 Cyborg and it was not only technically superior to the Bob Longs but also cheaper. It looks like I'll be getting one of those.

I have a vice and I love it. I also had a marq 7 about 8 months ago. I love teh feel of both of them. May I ask what position u play? If ur a snake/front player u might wanna go with the marq series(I'm a closer fan myself) because of the slightly more compact design(not that teh gen 5 timmys are bulkly but they are a stacked tube design). If u play back/mid/stand up I would highly recomend the vice. Feel free to pm me/ im me if u have any questions.
