computer gurus needed
yea so i kiiinda got a virus and my comp shuts down after so long. i ran every anti virus, spyware, you name it, did a system restore 3 days ago and it shut off again today while i was playing halo, the last time it shut down i was also playing halo. could it be i got the new virus and its put the files in my game? im not sure cause ive never had a viruse like this. or if anyone knows where to get a program to remove it that would be apreciated.

i have a pretty expensive solution, get a apple(mac).
 are you sure its a virus maybe your computers just screwy, just a thought sorry i cant help.

one of the guys from here talked to me on aim. found out my heatsink is gone :-/. gotta go buy some artic silver 5 tomorrow to take care of the prob.
and no i hate macs lol

Wow that was a fast fix! I was going to start with your powersupply was bad and overheating, maybe the power supply fan...but if it's your heat sink on your processor, be careful when you put on your new one, maybe find some processor diagnostics to make sure it hasn't been damaged by heat sink damage.

lol, bomber, mine does that too. me or my brothers will be tryin to get on to play, and either when it starts up or in the middle of a game, the computer will just crash! speakin' of Halo, we need to get on together again sometime. i havent played in ages...
