as far as i know getting EMG active pups...needs a little bit of woodwork since normal humbuckers are shorter compared to EMG's plus a little more effort putting in the needed electronics.
the easiest would just be to buy Seymour Duncans or Dimarzios as replacements.
BTW have you ever tried looking at schecters? the omen is a very good deal, had one once, before my wife broke it
...great playability and no quality issues i'm going to get a Schecter C-1 plus in the next month
