actually, all Phantoms should come with a rod to adjust the Phantom. i have yet to see a new one without.
as for barrel, either an 11 or 14 is good. 8" is for indoor play.
as the above ones have said, the back bottle is what i would lean to with a 9oz tank. if you have a 4oz, then the verticle mount is great for balance.
and correct with the detent rings. helps to keep the marker from double feeding. i include them free with those that purchase from me.
