Always wear your gear when you ride!
Trying to teach my girlfriend to drive a motorcycle on her brothers little automatic scooter last week:
About a hour later in the ER after flipping the bike by hitting a curb taking a wide corner. Trapped both are legs between the bike and curb and grinded to a stop.
Me, missing about 5 out of the 7 layers of skin:
