Soo.. took some steel wool to the rusty bits on the bike. The forks are nice and shiny again. I do need to take apart a fair amount though. Crash bar needs to be sandblasted, and the exhaust is pretty fubar'd. But I think I'll just get some pipes for that. As well I need to invest in some handlebars. The stock ones come down so low that if I'm sitting on the bike they'll interfere with that whole turning thing.
Thinking if I can't just rotate them up (Ontario law states it can't be more than 14 inches from the top of the seat to the top of the handlebar), I think the stock ones will easily clear that. I'm thinking I might need to get a drag bar, or one off another bike.
