This is a two part event based on the June 6th, 1944 invasion of Normandy by the Allies. There will be a four hour night game on June 17th beginning at 9 P.M. and a seven hour day game, including lunch, beginning at 10:00 A.M. on June 18th. This game will be held at Battlefront Paintball in Hubbard, Ohio. Please be sure you arrive several hours prior to each game so that you are ready to go at the horn for each event. Participation in the night game is only $6 if you pre-register and is not required to play in the day game. For those of you playing in the night game, camping is available onsite and is free of charge.
For 2011, we will continue with last year's theme of giving the team generals more control over the direction of the event. Generals will decide what type of missions to send their players on as well as when. They will not be restricted to a ridged schedule forced upon them by the scenario producer.
Revisions to the opening battle for Omaha beach have been made to make the experience more challenging as well as more enjoyable. Last year, there was a time frame that the producers followed where the initial German respawn slowly moved further away from the beach. This year it will be up to the Americans to push that respawn back by capturing key locations on the beach. Germans will continue to enjoy the high ground with the support of mortars that will be set up in town.
