Thanks everyone. I picked up some 800 grit sandpaper here tonight and will try polishing the last row of threads and the section of tube just prior to this. The o-ring doesn't appear to be excessively swollen as I can see part of it through the slot below where the delrin bolt sits. A bit puzzling but I'll post my results tomorrow.
