This is going to be a Day wear Scottish Dirk. There are no 'serrations' as is commonly known.
If you are thinking of "Jimping" then no. That's the design you see on the spine of a Sgian Dubh [black knife] in the sock.
This blade is 13" long from tip to hilt....and heavy. MORE than able to take on........uh.........."utilitarian" needs..........
