If it's the stock mech frame, it's fairly easy to diagnose "the frame/trigger" as the problem.
Take the frame off the body and simply pull the trigger. The sear [wedge of metal sticking out the top of the frame] should move down as you pull the trigger back.
If it disappears into the frame, that isn't the problem.
If it DOESN'T disappear into the frame, it IS the problem and probably means the linkage between the trigger and sear has been disconnected.
