I'm speaking in general, while you're narrowing your opinion to the war or terror LostCause. In the past Marines lead the way. When it comes to rapid response, Marines are the first boots on the ground.

I'm not a Jarhead, I was in the Navy. I served on said "amphib" USS Kearsarge LHD-3.
