Re: Jerseys At School

Um.....why? It's bad that I'll wear it every once in a while on days that aren't "spirit week" type days? Unless you mean regularly as in everyday, then no, that would be silly, and unclean.

But...

Re: Since I had to buy a car, this is all....

Oh yeah, I was expecting it to be in bad shape too.

I say jump on the deal. Even if its in not-so-great shape, at least you didn't blow over $100 on it. And like Critical is doing, you could turn...

Since I had to buy a car, this is all....

....I could really get.

Well not really. I always wanted a cocker, and I always wanted an electro cocker. So action village has that great deal on Competition Trilogies for 82 (92 with economy...

Re: For the same price, I coulda had a DM8 or Ego8...

Ouch, well getting paid more usually helps. I actually had to cut my hours for school.

Probably not, I don't really trust myself. We're probably going to leave it to some friends in the business....

Re: For the same price, I coulda had a DM8 or Ego8...

Well, about the Protege/camry, as it stands, that particular Protege is better then that particular camry.

And I must stand corrected, its an 03 Protege, not a 01. Not sure if it matters, probably...

Re: For the same price, I coulda had a DM8 or Ego8...

The camry is maintained just fine, like any other car. Trust me, I know it has. That car is babied. It's probably because its been on several cross-country trips.

I never thought the Protege was top...

Re: For the same price, I coulda had a DM8 or Ego8...

We've looked at auctions in our area, nothing impressed us really, just a lot of pricey junk.

I didn't like the idea of owning something beat. The engine may keep going, but what about the rest of...

Re: For the same price, I coulda had a DM8 or Ego8...

Woah there slugger.

First off, it is NOT a GM. Its a 91, before GM bought them out.

I wouldn't ever drive a used Carrolla, Civic, Camry, whatever because the odds are its been beaten to hell,...

Re: For the same price, I coulda had a DM8 or Ego8...

Really? The ignition is so awesome. I admit, it may mot be for everyone, but its my car, no one else has to (or gets to!) drive it. I luv it.

From my working knowledge, I feel more comfortable...

Re: For the same price, I coulda had a DM8 or Ego8...

We've looked all over for something decent with low miles. My father has owned a few Saabs and really wanted me to have one. I kinda caved but I love it :)

The interior is very clean. The...

Re: For the same price, I coulda had a DM8 or Ego8...

Ah no worries. It's no worse then a Volvo or BMW ;)

Plus, there is a Saab dealer only about 5 miles away. I'm not worried at all. I've seen 900s go for 300,000+ miles, and I expect this one to be...

For the same price, I coulda had a DM8 or Ego8...

Had to buy a car to get to and from school and work.
Its a '91 Saab 900, only 75,700 miles. Cost about the same as a new DM8, but I needed a ride...

Re: TechPB Supergun Show

Mike's videos are great. If you say he is biased, then maybe you should watch his video about him talking about his being biased.

And isn't a review supposed to cover aesthetics and taking it apart...

Re: New 2008 Electra w/ Ey Size Comparison

Does anyone know if it uses standard fittings for the steel-braided lines and not metric?

Re: PMR price hike?

I figured the price of transportation being the reason, but I haven't seen it really anywhere else as high as I did with the PMR. At least not on online stores.

Hmm I hardly ever buy something I...

PMR price hike?

I was seriously thinking of picking up a red Proto Rail, but I noticed at actionvillage that they are no longer $250 but $275. What gives? Its like this at every online shop I go to. Its not like...

Re: MR2 W/eyes Chopping paint!!!

Hmmm, all I can think of is blowback. If one of your buddies has a force-feed loader, try it and see if it doesn't fix the problem.

Or a new bolt with an o-ring or two might be a cheaper solution....

Re: Spyder Electra wit Eye(s)

Holy crap, look at that polished silver! OMG

MSRP $250

There you go! A very sexy marker for less than $250. I was debating on this or the PMR, but I'll go with something I'm much more familiar...
