i take back part of my first post, the sample vids that came on the pc are actually in .wmv and they work fine. Windows movie maker says it supports .avi files as well though...?

yeah actionvillage has them for the same price, but they also have the newer version for $275. i think its just got alloy pieces instead of the plastic for a few parts. or am i wrong?
