If you check on ebay and some other forums you can pick up a T8 for a good price now a days, especially if you aren't...

I would replace the spring, and feed neck to start along with a barrel...from there it would be all preference to how you play.
Your barrel, are you getting a threaded tip so you put tips on it...

new marker, are you still using the stock spring?
i would start by buying some aftermarket springs. The MR1 stock spring (in my experience) is garbage and needs to swapped out as soon as you buy...

They make them for other markers too...Trinity and Flasc, say not enough people ask for Spyders parts to make it profitable for them to make after market parts for them.

as far as using Tiberius First Strike and a rifled barrel I BELIEVE (not 100% sure) the fins on the FS round are made to rotate...
