I've got a Spyder TL-R too. I got mine about two years ago and have upgraded it a considerable amount since then.
But this looks like it would be a quick and easy way to get a gauge on your vertical...

A while back one of the wires that went to my capacitor (think thats the name for it, the fat tube thing, lol) broke off and it wouldn't shoot. But I took it to a shop and the guy fixed it.

More than likely thats your problem. You need to get the bolt that was designed for your gun. I've got an ACS bolt in my Spyder and it works great. Hope that helps.

I did the same thing pretty much. I got a hard case that was for a scale and cut it up to fit my gun, tank, hopper, and barrel. It works great too.

Yeah it would be wise to just spend the little extra and get the evolution 3. Because if you buy the evolution 2 and it isn't fast enough for you, you would have spend $20 to upgrade to the z-board...

But this last weekend I chopped a few balls now and then. But that was also do to old...

Another thing you can do is take out one of the springs on either side. That would lighten the tension because theres only one spring. And if you decide you don't like it. Just put the spring back...
