Re: cocking pin
Do yourself a favor and elongate the slot too. By tapping the hole and adding a bolt, it is going to hit the ends of the slot. The original cocking pin is necked down and it stll hits the ends and...

Re: Different Q about Pilot Cocking Knob
In short, using the stock pin, no. Not without causing other problem. I put a longer spring in that would get coil bond and would not let the detent ball move. But it caused the pin to bend. I ended...

Re: 2 questions
Very seldom do solenoid ware out. It is nothing more than a coil of wire and a steel rod. Unless there is a break in the wire of the coil or the rod seizes up it will continue to function. Having to...

Re: top cocking knob
The hole for the set screw is not a through tapped hole. The set screw can only go in as far as the hole has been tapped. So once you bottom the set screw out, it cannot go any further.
There have...

Re: acs bolt
The drawing that Kingman sends out with the 05 Pilot ACS is of the Pilot. It does not have an ACS bolt. If you look closely at the drawing you will notice a few other differences; bolt, trigger...

Re: Dye Sticky Grips???
I have them on my Pilot. They gave the gun a better fit and feel to my hand. The soft rubber gives you better grip. You get a better seal around your electronics too. The stockers provided zero...

Re: cocking knob update
Sorry but I don't agree with what you are saying. The knob of the cocking pin is hitting is at the top of the frame, not the pin hitting back of the slot. Opening the slot all the back will not stop...

I really don't know the answer to that. But I'd be willing to bet the answer is no it will not.

Re: cocking knob update
Peeps, as Druid said look at the slot. Also look at the top of the frame at the rear of the slot. If you see any silver showing, the knob is hitting there. It is my opinion that is where the problem...

Re: cocking pin
Making the bolt rear cocking is not that difficult. If you are fortunate to have a new style bolt plug or unfortunate enough to have the dust cover snapped off the bolt plug. And were able to remove...

Re: cocking knob update
I took my bolt apart and measured the parts; the delrin bodies ID is .507" and the aluminum bodies OD is .495". With a difference of .012", almost 1/64 free play. That seem like a lot of slop.

Re: Halo/Empire B 9v mod
If the wires are the same color, red to red - black to black, this is a parallel circuit - voltage stay the same current goes up = Longer run time.
If the wires are different colors , black to red,...

I knew that there were two different Pilot ACS models, but had no idea that the bolt assemblies were different. Live and learn.
