Re: Red Dot Sight
About the scope....that is a great use for it.
I normally use glasses, but when playing paintball, I take them off because of the fogging/mask problems and I loose a lot of my ability to distinguish...

Re: Red Dot Sight
JB,
Nice MR2. I noticed your mod buttstock. I did the same but found it not as convenient as using a JC folding stock.
By the way, do you use the Tasco scope for aiming?

Red Dot Sight
Folks,
After having bought and tested a few red dot sights, I think I have found the best.
This is what I have tested:
BSA 30 mm
ADCO Shure-Shot
Horton 30 mm Crossbow Sight
Simons 30 mm

Re: Mods and info
Same principles here....keep it agile and efficient.
I did install a Qloader and it did not work well until I changed to Marbalizers balls.
Now I can go full auto for the full capacity of the pod...

Re: MR1 Stock bolt
I got the Imagine ($50.00) and used the e-frame on my MR1. It fits it like a glove and shoots great.

Re: ACS bolt for MR1
I asked Kingman and they responded they don't have one for the MR1.
At this rate, I'm sure that somebody else will come up with one before Kingman does :)

Re: Cut The Stock Trigger?
I did it and was the best thing I did for comfort. It also allows me to hold and swing the marker with only one hand.
Having the finger inside the frame is no big deal.
Go for it.

Re: EMR1 Stock
The best one out there is the JCS Battle stock. It is foldable, firm and high quality.

Re: Lookin into an MR1
The MR-1 is great. Got one from WallMart and found it to be very accurate. A little loud because it works at 800 psi or more, which doesn't make it too different from the Pilot at that.
I...

Re: Pilot scenario gun
Start with a JCS folding stock followed by a 14 in barrel.
Later on you can add a red-dot sight.
Don't forget the camouflage tape.

Get JCS. I got one and it rocks. You can adjust it for angle down, which helps fit to your sighting system and it is only $50.00.

Re: is there a way to make the mr1 quieter
Defintely go Low Pressure.
I just finished doing it on my MR1 by installing a CP regulator and a Maddman valve. It went from 105 DB to 75 DB measured at 5 feet away.
I also installed a 14"...
