Re: Tapping a gauge on Pilot 08/09

Roughly .092" not really thick at all.

It's a really ugly solution, it adds like another 2" to the VA.

Re: Tapping a gauge on Pilot 08/09

Does anyone know if this is possible to tap the gauge onto the body itself.
I've seen it done on older models such as the AMG, but in the case of the Pilot, it is more rounded and has less surface...

Re: Tapping a gauge on Pilot 08/09

I considered that at one point, but wouldn't the cup seal bracket guide onto the gauge?

Tapping a gauge on Pilot 08/09

First Question is
Has anyone tapped a gauge onto the Pilot 08/09 vertical adapter?

The regulator, or in Pilot's case the air-thru expansion chamber, placed in the VA goes in about 0.625"

The...

Gauge on 08/09 Pilot?

Is it possible to put a gauge on 08/09 Pilot?, because I'd figured if I put a regulator on it, there would be no other way to check the pressure than a gauge.

Re: Tournament Regulations

The VS1 trigger will fit, but since the ASA on the VS3 is a rail, you would need to get a adaptor for the ASA.

The VS2 Trigger should work fine.

Re: Vs1 + Vs2 Asa = Rs?

O.K., then now back to my original question.

If I were to change the Valve + Valve Pin, and Use a VS2 ASA, would I be able to pull off a marker that operates similarly to a VS2 or a RS?

Re: Vs1 + Vs2 Asa = Rs?

I'd beg to differ.

I'd like to refer you to the RS Manual, the valve part #s are:
ITP013 Valve Pin
ITP014 Valve Body
Which is the same parts listed on the VS1.

The SE Valve + Pin # are:
ITP017...

Re: Vs1 + Vs2 Asa = Rs?

What I don't get is that the RS can run on 300PSI with all the same internals as the VS1, with the only differences being that the RS has a Inline Regulator and a On/Off.

Anyways, it was just an...

Lightbulb Vs1 + Vs2 Asa = Rs?

I was thinking about it the other day, and It struck me.

If someone were to put a VS2 On/Off ASA onto a VS1, since the VS2/3 ASA acts as a regulator, wouldn't you be able to run the VS1 very...
