Re: MAJOR DEFECT DISCOVERED in my barrel: J&J Owners Please Read

Yup, Batnan, also uses an apex. He has a pick with it on through the shroud.

Re: Gas Thru Grips/Expansion Chambers

I would if there was a need for a reg, however, since the MR2 runs roughly at 800 psi and a tank generally puts out 800 psi, I don't see much point. I wouldn't have even got the expansion chamber...

Re: Gas Thru Grips/Expansion Chambers

73I ended up getting an expansion chamber. This is what my MR-2 looks like now with a DeadOn drop forward and the a 32degrees Bob Long style expansion chamber.
That's a 14" J&J Ceramic Barrel on...

Re: MR2 Backplate (Stock replacement cap)

I saw an upgrade part on my friends TL-R. It was a velocity adjuster knob, but built onto it was a cover for the hole behind your bolt. It you want to put a little something into an upgrade, that...

Gas Thru Grips/Expansion Chambers

I'm new to adding aftermarket upgrades to my MR2. I'm wondering if anyone can tell me about any possible hangups I might encounter trying to get a new gas thru grip. Just wondering if the threads on...

Re: MAJOR DEFECT DISCOVERED in my barrel: J&J Owners Please Read

Strange indeed. Mine fits good, maybe you did get a defective barrel. Bummer bro. I have an Apex on the way. Don't think it will fit through the shroud, but I think it will be worth it.

Re: Do you have problems w/ your MR2?

1:No.
2:None after about a case of paint to break it in.
3:Viewloader VLocity, advertised 25bps.
4:My gun came with the black detents, but I am currently using Bob Long "Intimidator," detents. They...

Re: MAJOR DEFECT DISCOVERED in my barrel: J&J Owners Please Read

Make sure your O-ring is in the right groove. I noticed that it has two grooves on mine. Either one can hold the O-ring, but if you use the groove closer to the threads, the O-ring ends up hitting...

Re: J&J barrel

Eric, I shot an Apex last weekend on an A5, it was awsome. I would like to get one for my MR2, but not sure if it will fit through the shroud. Are you using an MR2 with the shroud on with your Apex?

Re: Velocity Owners

Not allot of paintball fields even allow you to use full-auto. My bud has a woodsball field that I use full-auto on from time to time. I never changed anything on my VLocity from out of the box...

Re: possible barrel kit for mr2!!!!!!!

Yeah, I'm not sure on that. I'm not motivated enough to drive an hour+ to get to the more equipped shops to check it out, but if I do, I'll bring in my MR2 and check it out.

Re: MR2 Chopping Problems

I don't know why, but my MR2 chopped when I first got it a few times, but ever since, it has functioned very well. Mine came with the black detents too. I think the springs in it are extremely tight...

Re: possible barrel kit for mr2!!!!!!!

It just dosn't look like there is much room to bore the shroud out much, but good luck on that.
As for the barrels, any Spyder thread barrel will work on an MR1, they don't have the shroud that the...

Hey Break, I have a 14 inch J&J ceramic barrel. The gun is still loud. It in the design of the gun. I think we're pretty much stuck with a loud gun with the MR2. The more quiet guns are usually...

Re: i may get an MR2 but...

Ok, the J&J ceramic barrels work through the MR2 shrouds. Not sure on the Full Tilt sets, but the regular single piece ceramic works. I think one guy posted that the Apex barrel fits too. I tried one...

Re: trigger help

Yeah, you tighten the allen bolt that is in the hole recess above the trigger to reduce the travel needed to make it fire. Careful not to tighten it too much or you may get the bouncing symptom...

Re: pre-use things to do

I leave my MR2 cocked between sessions. The stock spring is pretty strong. It hasn't caused any problems for me. As for the orange and black o-rings, they are spare parts. I think the black one is a...

Re: the true bps on full auto?

The chronos at the field I play at mostly will measure BPS too. My full auto works fine with decent paint. I'll check on mine when I go play next weekend.

Re: How to Mod ACS Bolt?

Yeah, Kingman really needs to use a stronger material for such a small allen bolt. Mine has been working though, it saved me from 2 chops yesterday. I still had to stop and get the warped ball out of...

Re: Double Shooting Noise

I adjusted my trigger to be really sensitive and tried it yesterday, I had that happen a few times while walking it. The stock setting should be fine though if it was like mine, but you never know....

Re: ACS needs broken in

Here's a thought, if you just take off your grip/trigger assembly by removing the two large bolts that hold it on, the gun can't stay cocked. At that point, you could pull back the T-cocker, stuff a...

Re: ACS Allen Screw STRIPPED

I tried loosening that bolt once to clean it and it seemed like it would strip if I kept going. I left it alone. Kingman should use a better quality metel on thos tiny bolts so they don't strip so...

Re: New MR

I seriously doubt that Kingman knowing about the problem equates to the reason behind the allen bolt being there, I think it is there simply for maintenance reasons. People occasionally need to clean...
