The barrel can come out of the shroud, but if you just want to push everything up on the barrel, that'll be a problem, because it(the barrel) is machined with grooves for some of the shroud parts.

Oh. yeah. I sorta figured that too, cause I asked the Rap4 tech people if it'd fit, and they said, "yes it will fit the MR3 but the modifications aren't very easy." That sort of scared me away.. heh.
