Re: Mods and info

The existing fore-grip on the MR-1 is a "gas-thru foregrip" only in the sense that it's hollow, and the steel line actually connects to the marker's receiver, not to anything inside the fore-grip. ...

Re: MR1 or Xtra?

The OP (original poster) stated he'd be doing more woodsball than playing at a paintball field (which could be both woods and speedball). I again reiterate my suggestion that he should get the MR-1....

Re: I'm New and i got a prob w/ MR1

The pin is a small matter if you get a rail that is either "raised" or "offset". There are *many* manufacturers that make attachments for the picatinney/weaver rail that is on the top of the MR-1. ...

Re: WTB - Single Trigger Spyder Trigger Frame

It's from a Spyder Classic, and it fits like a glove. I'm very pleased with the outcome.... If anyone's interested, I now have a lightly-used Spyder MR-1 trigger assembly & frame available (I don't...

Re: can i put a a new valve mr

I run my MR-1 with the stock valve at 500 psi w/o any problems. I use CO2, and a Palmer's STABILIZER "inline" regulator. If you get a higher pressure version, you can use the regulator to bring...

Re: New Gun

You can get NEW MR-1's for about 80$ retail on different sites, and for about $60 "remanufactured". Reman markers perform just as good as "new", so that $20 bucks could go towards a remote line, or...

Re: WTB - Single Trigger Spyder Trigger Frame

Kenny,

Thanks for the reply. I was given an old single-trigger mech frame, and I'll be using it to mod my marker.

WTB - Single Trigger Spyder Trigger Frame

WTT or WTB - I am seeking a Spyder Classic trigger frame that has the "single trigger" on it, rather than a double trigger. I will pay cash money (USD) or trade for my used MR-1 double-trigger...

Re: Hpa, Nitro, or Co2

HPA = "Nitro" => These are very consistent, but the tanks are expensive, and must be rehydro'ed every 3 to 5 years depending on manufacturer.

CO2 => Not as consistent as "HPA" or "Nitro", but...

Re: Paint to Bore match

Shooting either "under-sized" paint, or an "over-bored" barrel will hurt accuracy as well as your overall gas efficiency. It requires more pressure to move the ball out of the barrel because gas...

Re: Expansion chamber or regulator

Critical is absolutely correct. Palmer's "STABILIZER" is about the best there is for CO2. I have the "inline" model connected to a setup I built that allows me to connect 2 CO2 cylinders to my...

Re: PMI E-force trigger frame fit a MR-1?

You can get used E-frames for Spyders for less than $50. I'm trying to work a deal where I trade a guy my mech frame and some cash for a eframe. I'm hoping it works out.

Re: New Ghillies Suit

Ghillies are the ultimate in camoflage. If you are a "sniper" and like the hide-and -seek style of play, then go for it. I don't have a ghillie yet myself, but plan on getting/making one soon. I...
