nope your not, the striker is not responsible for sealing in air. However when you shoot it there is a chance air will escape around the striker and not provide enough blowback to recock the marker....

our feild just swiched to .50 (for renters) and so far there is no complaints at all. Everyone likes them, they are lighter and more efficient.

If you changed the cup seal and oiled it and it still leaks chances are you have a nick or bur on the valve where the cup seal sits. Does it hiss when the marker is cocked? Any proshop can fix it.

Along the lines of what Dragon said, I would like to see a milsim marker. One that you can customize without a dremel! I really liked the MR2 W/eye. It would be nice to see them remake the platform...

its a fairly thick black (some are clear) rubber circle that goes between the back of the striker and the velocity adjuster there is a hole in it for the spring to go through.
