Re: Important

What kind of knife and what kind of bat? And what sort of locale would this hypothetical fight be in? Are we talking about a fight in a clear, level, open space (like a gladiatorial arena), or a...

Re: Hi...

Hi Otter!

Yep.

I don't get it. How did all the Spyder sites get so dead? Kingman is still up 'n running, releasing new markers 'n stuff, isn't it?

Re: Spyder Rodeo

I recommend starting with the barrel (if you haven't done that yet) and the bolt. Get a delrin bolt to limit the wear in the top tube as well as helping with performance. If you haven't got a springs...

Re: Balance Valve, Eko Valve, Strikers...

SundragonPPS have been like that for ages. I'd just assumed they'd stopped business altogether. I guess I'll try Kingman.

Balance Valve, Eko Valve, Strikers...

It's quiet here but I figured I'd ask here before I post on PBN.

Anyone know where I can get the Balance & Eko valves and their related strikers? I've been out of the upgrade game for a while so...

Re: Spyder Rodeo

The OtterSC Customs Spyder page (http://web.archive.org/web/20080203094158/http://www.ottersccustoms.com/spyder.html) has all the information I used back when I started. It's now an archive page so...

Re: Spyder Rodeo

That's what I like to hear. I'm the same with my first Rodeo too and not just because it was my first Spyder. I got into paintball just after it came out and I just fell in love with the way it...

Re: Spyder Rodeo

Yay! Nice to have another fellow Rodeo user on SOC! :D

Aside from the usual barrels, drop forwards and regulators there aren't many upgrades out there nowadays for the pre-2007 range of Spyders....

Thumbs up I finally have something new to post on here! Yay!

I know it's kinda quiet on SOC nowadays, I know I've been on other boards more because I've been working on my cockers, so I'm really pleased that I can finally post something up on here that isn't a...

My "clear some space" and "get projects finished" sale

Hi All,

As the title suggests... I need to clear some space and, hopefully, get some money to help me progress on my other projects. All this stuff is either parts I got with other stuff I bought or...

Re: Got myself a Metadyne Thumper (No. #157)

Thanks for the info on the Nova. On the Thumper the barrel assembly is moved forward to feed the ball into the chamber and the rest of the parts don't move as far as I can ascertain... so I guess...

Re: Got myself a Metadyne Thumper (No. #157)

I got it for $240 shipped.

That looks like a very nice price being that it has the stock class feed aswell as the open class adapter. If I had the money for a second one I'd buy it.

Re: Got myself a Metadyne Thumper (No. #157)

According to the Metadyne vid the Thumper is designed for petroleum jelly (aka Vaseline) only.

The previous owner just tried what he had laying about in his toolkit. He told me that he'd tried a...

Re: Got myself a Metadyne Thumper (No. #157)

I don't know. What's a nova?

edit:
Yay! I've found some (total of 4) 12g caplets hiding away with my T9! Erm... I think I'll strip it down, clean out the dow55 and relube with petroleum jelly before...

Re: Got myself a Metadyne Thumper (No. #157)

It's really small too. I have small to medium sized hands and I'm able to comfortably hold the marker in my right hand, pump the back plate with my thumb and shoot without needing to stabilise the...

Got myself a Metadyne Thumper (No. #157)

I liked the look of this marker when I first saw it but I was way too late for the pre-order. Then I started reading up on it and the difficult birth it's had. I was kinda put off to be completely...
