Re: MR1 customized stock options
Actually, there are M4-type collapsible car-stocks out there (like this Hittmann) that install in the striker channel and give you a small but appreciable amount of extra room (especially right...

Re: Grandpa's work in progress
Love the shorty barrel. I use an End Game Stub Nose 3-incher on my Tippmann A-5, and it's cool. :)
Yeah, I prefer the APP Hittmann M4 car-stock for Spyders. It fits the MR1 really nicely, has...

Re: Electronic hopper?
A Halo Backman LCD will keep up with an MR1 nicely, even when mod'ed with an electronic trigger frame and aftermarket ringless Delrin bolt. You can find 'em for under $50. An egg (under $55 on...

Re: gun upgrades
I actually think the MR1, being sparer and more standard in design, is actually a BETTER platform for upgrades than its big brothers. The shroud alone makes all the difference...

Re: Replacing Striker
I put an Alamo City lightened striker and ringless Delrin bolt in my ESP e-triggered MR1. A Shocktech spring kit was mandatory in order to get the correct spring rate for reliable recocking under...

Re: MR2 vs. Ion
I have experience with both, and I own an Ion with a Special Ops Blackcell body and air-thru stock. The Ion is technologically superior and amazingly smooth-shooting. With an egg (Viewloader...

Re: what do u got
MUCH lighter and shorter trigger pull. The mechanical MR1 trigger out of the box is not really one you can expect to "walk" with any speed. Two fingers do help you combat the fatigue of the heavy...

Re: need advice..
D) Buy another MR1 and an ESP e-trigger, and use your old MR1 as your "guest gun".

Re: My grip shredded- Hybrids?
The MR1 stock grips LOOK like they use 2-bolt .45 frame grips, but they actually have a different bolt pattern. I don't know anything you can use as a replacement. I upgraded my MR1 with an ESP...

Re: MR1 Scope/Sight Rail Upgrade?
Unfortunately, it DOES NOT fit the MR1. I saw that on their website and immediately realized that, without other hardware, the same handle that fits on an MR2 will interfere with the MR1's top...

Re: Sling Attachment For The MR Series?
I personally prefer a quick-disconnect 1-point sling like the Wolf or RAP, which can be used in pairs to make a 2-point if you have D-rings on each shoulder of your vest/LBE.
If you don't wear a...

Re: Got MR1 with an Apex barrell?
I am pretty equivocal on the Apex, but it will let you do one thing: longball a la the Tippmann Flatline. Just leave the damn thing on backspin and take advantage of the extra range.
Seeing a...

Re: compare
I'll be a vocal minority here...
The MR2 is a very cool gun, but a Tippmann A-5 with an E-Grip is simply tougher, more versatile, and packs (slightly) more firepower.
The Spyder barrel, by virtue...

Re: mr1 trigger/frame
I agree. I bought an entire Imagine from Action Village for $62, swapped the ESP e-trigger with the frame from My MR1 and had a complete semi-auto "guest" gun in addition to a full-auto MR1!
