Re: chopping problem

Is that your marker I have seen picture of floating around with the hard-line feed? That is one slick setup!

Re: chopping problem

Did you direct feed it, or go the hose route? What did it take to get it running right?

Re: chopping problem

I have had very good luck with the Viewloader VLocity, but have a Q-Loader on the way that I am quite anxious to try.

PipeRain's Barrel/Ball Test

So, I've been wrasslin' with my MR2, dealing with breach chops and barrel-breaks galore. After breaking in my ACS bolt thoroughly, and going to a force-fed hopper, the breach breaks are a thing of...

Re: wow Loud!

Hmmm...

I got a J&J 16" barrel and the ALamo 2 O-Ring bolt, and it doesn't seem to have quited the marker at all. Course, maybe the fact that I haven;t been able to test it anywhere other than my...

Re: mr2+alamo2ringbolt+qloader+j&j ceramic+timmydetent =

My MR2 (WHich in the interest of full disclosure is still getting the breaks/chops worked out) prefers Marbellizers in the stock barrel, but they barrel break like mad in my new 16" J&J Cermaic...

MR2 + QLoader question

So in my ongoing search to get my MR2 running right, I am considering the QLoader. The VLocity seems to keep up OK, but when it does chop in the breech it seems to always blow-by at the same time...

Re: VerC T-Board or BT Apex barrel

The stock bolt should work, if you break it in properly....

Re: new MR2 owner...striker plug mushrooming?

Well, I"m too much of a n00b to know for sure, but generally speaking, mushrooming parts = "BAD". I'd get ahold of Kingman and see about a new part myself. Is the takedown pin showing odd wear...

Re: Anti - Chop - Bolt ?

Yes, it should.

Read some of the threads posted in the last week, and you'll find a wealth of information about this topic.

Re: Acs Bolt. It Works!

This is true.

Simply compressing a spring (any spring) will not "Break it in". If that were the case, the springs in your car would fail in short order due to fatigue. However, what the...

Re: Acs Bolt. It Works!

Well, actually, it took two zipties. :D

Connect the ties together.
Drop a pencil down the opening in the bolt face.
Loop the ziptie over the stud at the opposite end of the bolt (Sorry, I...

Re: Acs Bolt. It Works!

So far, this has proven true for me as well. Ran down to the local paintball shop, grabbed a stiffer spring, and after breaking in my ACS bolt, it seems to be working. Granted, this is with a rag...

Re: quick question

Sounds like your socket is loose on the board.

If you're good (very good) with a soldering iron, and you don't care if you void your warranty, you could possibly solder it back down. I'd send it in...

Re: chopping

In my experience (http://www.spyder.tv/forums/showthread.php?t=15947) you will need a force-fed hopper for that gun to run very fast. My 18V Fasta can't keep up after about the third ball or so...

Welcome!

I'm a complete n00b at this, and the folks here have been real helpful. One suggestion : Once your bolt get un-ziptied, stuff a rag down the feedneck and cycle it (with air) a few hundred...
