So I guess my end-state question is: If I buy all this .50 Cal stuff, can I just walk up to my local field on Sat/Sun morning and play with other folks shooting .68? Or will all the games be...

Nah....I'll be teaching meteorology at Keesler AFB, MS...About 3 hours away from my wife's family....We're very excited about the "every-other-Friday-off" schedule.

I think sony is jumping on the Blu Ray technology too quickly. They've never really made the best choices with media types and I think this tech will fall to the wayside in place of HDDVD.
