side cocking MR1?

I wanted to use my broken airsoft gun's shell to make my MR1 look better but it would look weird with the top cocking bolt. What would i have to do to make the marker use a side cocking bolt?

I've seen a lot of mods of the MR1 online but never had the guts to even take mine apart. I recently decided that if I'm careful that I should do it. Other than a barrel replacement what upgrades...
