Second this - my youngest was lactose intolerant also. We switched to that soy formula and it worked like a charm. More expensive, but wonderful stuff!

Nair doesn't hurt that much. I used it on my chest once. It took longer though. Shaving your chest is best. I mean, outside of waxing which removes the root but HURTS like the devil himself is...
