Thank you. I have a J&J, a Dye, and a CP barrel, just thought MAYBE a different bolt will make it a tad more quiet.

I know this gun is a cheap marker, but I really liked it's design and it was only $40.00 on Craigs List.

I have been looking to do the basic upgrades. Mainly a new feed neck and a expansion...

After taking it all apart again and doing more research, it appears I used a tank o-ring on the striker, and from what I read that could be my issue as well. I did compare my sear with another spyder...

The sear does appear to have some wear on it. I assume I will have to buy a whole grip, or can I find just the sear?

I did a search and it was not conclusive as to if that is my issue.

My issue is that when I rapid fire my Spyder (Old school compact) it will shoot fine then all of the sudden act as if the tank is...

Yes I was very obsessed as well. I played literally every weekend. That probably played a part in me getting divorced! lol Now I just need to make time for paintball and my car!

I guess I am old as well. I realized I stopped playing when I was 28. I'm now 39. So I guess it was a 11 year hiatus. lol

I admit I am excited to get back out in the fields!

Hello, yes I am new.

I haven't played this game in 9 years, and I still have my Spyder Compact from 1998 and it still shoots very good. It is the only gun I have ever owned.
