Opinions on low cost paint
 

Hey peeps..
I want to by some paint online and wanted you opinions on what is the best/moderately priced paint you use.. I have both the j&j ceramic barrel and the CP one peice so if one paint works better with one paint over the other let me know!

I like Xball bronze. Relatively cheap from Actionvillage.

Is it pretty good with both barrels? My local field has stingers and it's okay in the j&J but stinks in the cp.

Xball is kinda small so it should fit in both barrels, dependent on the size of the barrel. That's part of the thing, your paint CAN'T be bigger than your barrel, it'll break all the time. I prefer a bit looser fit - check for barrel to ball match, then go a size larger. No barrel breaks going that way.

I find that xball is really good. It's pretty consistant in roundness, it flies straight and it has bright colors and a thick fill. The only complaint I had was it was really too small for my All American. Once I got a kit, though, it was ok. But I still ALWAYS choose a barrel that's one to two sizes bigger. Accuracy isn't affected much, if any, and I NEVER have a barrel break. With eyes, no chops, so I don't end cleaning paint out of my gun.

I have the J&J and a CP 2 piece and X-Ball Bronze and Silver shoot fine. And they are pretty cheap.

I've used "Eliminator" paint and it actually works well as a rec paint. $42 SHIPPED with a no broken ball guarantee!

The shell is kind of weird - sort of like plastic. They seem to break on target though so who cares.

i agree .. the x-balls are pretty good, but if your not trying to waste much money on paint .. you could always use ZAPS .. which are 30 bucks a case .. and have a good shell, and pretty thick paint.

ZAP are okay, but sometime the paintball bounce.

Is the X-balls is better than Zap, where could I find a great deal like the Eliminator?
