beginner guitar songs
 
ok, whats some good beginner songs? right now im trying to learn smoke on the water. i'll play just about anything rock. (not that i have anything against country, its just not my thing)

Swing Swing- All american rejects was my first song. Pretty easy.

Yeah, it's not too hard, but something you probably couldn't tackle if your just learning smoke on the water. And Ultimate Guitar ftw.

If your serious about learning to play, but a program called guitar pro. I think it's extremely helpful, especially for beginngers. www.guitar-pro.com

anything from the "alternative" era 90's is easy to learn and play, all power chords just have to listen to the song and get the pattern down...
Smells like teen spirit = ripoff of Louie Loiue from back in the day and the solo is very easy to learn.

yeah, i personally like power tab editor better (http://www.power-tab.net/)

but either of those programs would help alot, because if you find the tab on ultimate guitar or w/e site you are using, it shows the tabs, the notes and it will play the song for you, and you can even slow it down so you can play along with it.
