Burst Disk Question
I was just reading the article on burst disks, and it said that the disks should be rated to between 1800, and 2500 p.s.i. But i was just looking at my tank, and it has a 3500 psi burst disk in it, i was just wondering if this is safe

what type of tank?
CO2 tanks should be 1800 rated. 3,000psi HPA/Nitro tanks should be 3,500 rated and the 4,500psi HPA/Nitro tanks should be 5,000 rated. |

It can be a "3k" burst disk. the 1800WP ones are displaying the Working Pressure of the tank, and burst at 3,000psi. So either is acceptable. ;)

The standard has changed. It used to be 1800psi but is now 3000psi for C02 tanks -
