i recently bought a refurbished spyder imagine from action village and it does not seem to work ( the lights are not lighting up) and i have charged it

first check all of the connections, then tell us what you have found. does it still fire?

Did you turn it on? What happens when you try a different battery? Do any wires look damaged or pinched?

Make sure you charge it for 24 hours when you first get it.

Personally, I wouldn't mess with it and just send it back. It's refurbished but that doesn't mean that it shouldn't work when you get it. I had a prob with one of the products they sent me and they replaced it and paid for the return shipping. If you try to fix it, it may give them the technicality that it was your fault if you can't fix it -

Yeah like the two previous have said make sure your battery is plugged in completely, and no wires are pinched, if all else fails, give kingman a call and use your wonderful warranty...

wait . . . my friend unplugged the battery before it had a 24 hour charge and i re-plugged it . . . is this bad?

no, its just a battery, doesn't affect the charge if you unplug it

it could also be from not putting it off of safety :p .... unless you've already tried that ... just send it back then ...

there's also another way you could test it ... just plug the charger in ... take off safety .. and try to fire ... other than that ... if no lights come on or .. it doesn't fire ... im not really sure

It sounds like a board problem, so like Drago said..send it back to AV and tell them when you got it, it was non-working.

should i just return this and buy a *new* pychoballistics silver bullet for only $30 more?
