Air systems
Is there any way to put a rap4 air system on an (E)mr-1? I was looking at the 3000psi air tank that fits in the m4 stock. Seeing as i usually use my tiny air tank (13ci?/my smallest tank) I would rather have it hidden in a stock.

there is no way...sorry man, thats designed to screw into an asa on the back of the gun the MR1's air input is under the barrel on the front of the gun

Re: Air systems
junits that not totally true. Rap4 sells the spyder flexi-air system.
I'm not sure exactly how it works but I have seen it mounted on other spyders before. They also sell this adapter set.
I have seen the adapter set on an MR1 somewhere on MCB (I can't find it at the moment). But like it's shown in the picture it connects directly to the front block. However, you can use a 90* macroline fitting to go directly to the hole that is already there which the current SS line is connected to. All you have to do is cut a space into the foregrip of the MR1 and connect the fitting with the hose that is running to rap4 adapter kit.

Re: Air systems
Is there a way to put one of rap4's small tanks on the input and cover it with a magazine?

Re: Air systems
I thought about that too when I was doing things to mine. The reason why it won't work in a magazine is because 1: the foregrip is too small. By that I mean the tank is too wide and that foregrip is big enough to fit it. 2: the way the stock foregrip mounts to the mr1 body is by the long screws. Inside of the foregrip there are guides that help the screws align with the holes in the spyder body and also to serve as a way for those "catch" on to something so that it can tighten itself with the body. Sorry if that last part doesn't make sense, I tried my best to describe it. If you take off the foregrip and take a look at it you'll know what I mean. Then lastly if you try and use a real size ar15 magazine clip you'll end up with the same results as before where the tank is too big and the magazine/foregrip is too small. I tried to think of every way to conceal an air source too if that's what you're going for.

Wow, where is your guys sense of adventure? Take a chance, I think it could work, you may not be able to use the RAP4 fore grip, but I think you could definitely use the stock with the tank in it.. If you can get the stock (with tank) to mount to the back of the marker, and then add a macro elbow to it like it shows in your second link, you could just run that line to where airline connects on the MR1, it could work. You may have to do some modification so your macroline isn't 20ft long, but I think it could work. It may even be possible with an adapter or two to run the macroline to the ASA. If I could get my hand on the part, I could definitely make it happen.

Re: Air systems
I found it!!
This is what I was trying to draw a picture of with my poorly formed sentences. Also I think this is what shunut was talking about too.
feast your eyes my friend.
You could even do something a lot nicer but this is basically the concept. Once I saw this I wanted to do it too but the rap4 kit was a little pricey for me.

Re: Air systems
That Mr looks cool. But right now i'm thinking if i buy a rap4 tank That is small enough i could run a macro to the back of the gun and have it so i could just thread the tank to the macro and then slip the tank into some kind of holster on the stock or if i buy a stock i could slip it inside the stock.

I found this I think this would be a good candidate for putting it in a mag or a stock. Now if i could only find a hollow stock (such as an mp5) for an mr1.

Re: Air systems
Oh i see what you mean about the smaller tank now. I have a T68 except I have a 5oz tank in the stock and it is pretty nice to have it set up like that. You can just get a regular carbine stock and that should slip over those small tanks just fine. Rap4 makes things to milspec and then fits their technology in it so it has the "look and feel" of real gun.
