Spyder Rt Question

I have a palmer reg ordered for my rt. Does anyone know if I can use the hose thats on the gun or will if have to order a different asa and micro hose kit.

Palmer's are standard threaded, Spyders are metric.

Go to SundragonPPS and get a metric fitting for your stock ASA, 2 feet of macro line, and a standard fitting.

Be sure to measure the macro line twice before cutting, and add about an inch to an inch and a half the first time you do it so you don't end up short. The hose goes into the fitting a bit, and you want it fully seated.

What about the stainless hoses. Are they better. Im running co2. My friend keeps busting his micro line on his brand new Azodin.

stainless hoses will last you longer, but more of a pain to put on. I don't think they make one for the RT, so you would have to custom cut it or have some one cut it for you. Co2 will make macro lines life pretty short, but there only a few bucks.

Good quality macroline should not burst up until about 1500-1800psi. That would be achieved by leaving the marker gassed up with CO2 and left in the sun. Steel hose would be more durable over the long term, but it is more difficult to get it in place and to find in the right length with the right threading.

If your friend is really having problems with inferior quality macroline, then he should order a few from The Macroline Guy. He backs his stuff to never burst under normal circumstances.

Re: Spyder Rt Question

He got the gun three weeks ago and we have played one day every weekend since. It has busted twice which was between games and it was in the sun. He does not take his co2 tank off between games. I dont either for that matter. Then last weekend it blew the fitting off the end of the line during a game and we couldnt find it. Just sounds like alot of bs to have to worry about or is he doing something wrong. No changes have been made to the gun. Like I said its brand new. Im pretty sure its the azodin blitz.

Leaving it in the sun is what his disfunction is. Put a spare shirt or towel over your markers when you are not playing to solve 95% of his problems.

What is happening most likely is that liquid CO2 is creeping into the hose and expanding in the heat from the sun. That is, unless you are in an area that isn't warm recently? Azodin also isn't known for their quality, so it could also be that.

Re: Spyder Rt Question

Any info on why every two or three shots im shooting double balls. Im using a Halo loader.

Re: Spyder Rt Question

Balls are most likely being pushed past the detents. If they are little rubber nubs instead of captive ball bearings, replace them with hard style Intimidator detents. You can order these from Crankwalk on IntimidatorOwners or on PBN. If they are the ball bearing style... get back to us.

Also, turn down the force of the hopper if at all possible. Is this a Halo with V35? Halo Too? When you find out and can relay that information, I will be able to tell you exactly how to do that.
