Striker O-ring
 

Got a MR-1 mechanical. Been playing with it for a little while with no problems. Took the marker apart for a good cleaning. When I removed the striker I noticed there was no o-ring on it at all. From what I understand there should be a reddish/orange o-ring on the the striker, right? If so, why is my marker not leaking air like crazy. I put the marker back together and aired up and there seems to be no problems. Am I missing something here?

nope your not, the striker is not responsible for sealing in air. However when you shoot it there is a chance air will escape around the striker and not provide enough blowback to recock the marker. It will make the burping/farting noise. I have came across alot of spyders that function without the oring.

Thanks! Luckily I haven't experienced any problems without one. By the way, where can I find that o-ring? A spare didn't come in my bag of spare parts.All I got was a couple for the bolt.

When it comes to Spyder replacement parts, I don't usually look much further then these guys... They should have what you're looking for... and much more:)
