Which barrel should I get for my MR2?
Which barrel should I get for my MR2? I wanted a CP but I don't think they fit because of the shroud. SO now I am looking at a J and J or a CMI. Which one should I get?
The biggest thing I am looking for is range (though I know many people think barrels dont help that) and noise reduction (not as much of a concern) Thanks!:) |
Re: Which barrel should I get for my MR2?
I like and recommend Lapco barrels. Lots of differrent lengths and styles, and you can get a bunch of different tips on the new Assault series. They also have Apex ready barrels and an Apex tip for the Assault, so you can add range by using an Apex. They're my favorite barrels. However they are typically loud.

I have heard Lapco's are good but they are a bit out of my budget.....

Try to pick up a used Lapco if you can. Worth the money. I also like Dye barrels. Both of which come in several bores & will work out great.

Am I crazy but I think I have heard that spyders take autococker threads? Does the MR2?

All Spyders take SPYDER threads.

Alright thanks. I think I am going to end up going with a J and J. Do you know if CP barrels fit the MR2 (shroud)

Re: Which barrel should I get for my MR2?
J&J is always a good choice. Tried and true. Never had any experience with CP barrels myself.
Looking at the pictures.. they may or may not fit, best to stick with the J&J which you know will work. |
