Frame-forward mod?
 

So the other day, I finally got to hold an RS, and I realized that it feels more compact to me than my older Electra. Now, I had heard of a frame-forward mod, but I never really found much reference to it (as in a tutorial), so can anyone help me out? :)

i did it once but its hard to do because basically the frame doesnt have a back screw holding it in, and its very hard to slot the striker right. i did mine, but it started rounding off.

bad idea for an VS/RS, mainly because by the time you cut everything it will be obvious that you took a hacks saw. The Big flipping trigger guard would be cut into before the deed was done.

I think he's inquiring about doing this to an 05 Electra though.. :p

yes and no. at high rates of fire i had trouble recocking. because it was wearing the sear down and because the frame was so loose.

doh! i've sold him stuff to for his 05 313ctra.

well in that case. its a hit or miss depending on how well you make it work, its not too terribly hard to mod but the performance is defiantly questionable

Ah damn, never mind then. If performance is going to suffer, then I'll just keep it how it is. She runs great so I'd rather not risk it. Thanks guys!
