MR2 SIR project
 

Haven't seen one of these so I thought I would try to make a good one.

I ordered a D-Boys SIR shroud from ebaybanned, so, whenever it shows up (3-4weeks) I will post photos of the whole progress...

aww...does that mean no 36 style carry handle/raised rail?

Well I know the Tippmann one for the X7 will fit, I saw a guy with one on his MR2. Just so you know, I don't think that ones that expensive

Holy CRAP! The SIR shroud cleared customs yesterday!!! 9 frikin' days in customs? I have never seen it take that long... I was thinking there was a problem.... Should get it on Monday and I'm off this week so I'll be modding! woot!... Pics are coming...

I think the one Trinity makes is aluminium (trinitypaintball <-the pics make it look shiny) So there is a good chance I will get this one.

the only problem with the one for the x7 is that they get damaged/break easily...correct me if I'm wrong sonik, but isn't the one tippmann puts out for the x7 made of plastic...

yeah the tippy one is plastic... but from what I have seen it is fairly sturdy.

The shroud showed up Monday. ... I have a couple of pictures but I'm hesitant to show it off before it is finished. I'm still knocking around the idea of using an expansion chamber (trinity - the newer one) and making a delrin mag-well which should mount easily or using the BT fake mag well and using a reducer to air-thru the mag. If I don't use an expansion chamber I will need to use a stabilizer/reg for sure... CO2 is a drag...

Will you still be using the MG shroud?
