Halo hopper 9.6v conversion? HELP!

I have a Halo-B hopper, pretty much out of the box hardware.

Okay guys, I have read up on this, but I don’t understand a few things…

What do I need to get to do this mod?

Other than the fact that it is rechargeable, what other benefits does it offer?

Is it a worthy mod?

Also, polarity?

Any other input or information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you to all the seasoned vets out there.

Also, if anyone can lend me information, what other mods are considered necessary to the halo hopper?

You mean taking a 9.6V battery and plugging it into the hopper? Should be just fine, just plug it right into the 9V adapter.

Replacing the stock battery pack with a 9.6v rechargeable? All you gotta do is put the 9.6 in just like the battery pack. The + & - are the same on ALL 9v style batterys & the battery pack.

Now dual 9v mods, you will have to wait til someone else comes in.

On a side note, a normal 9v was plenty for both my EM1 & TL+. Even ran a 9v for a day on my Timmy with the eyes off. The only problem with the timmy was when the ball stack could NOT be forced by the hopper into the breech.

i believe dual 9vs are just 3 battery harnesses together. 1 to plug up to the original, the other two spliced into the first one (reds to red, blacks to black, etc.) or you can make a circuit where theyre all red-to-black (one to one)

Yes, sorry, the post originally was for dual batts. If I just double the batteries, won’t that double the voltage and damage components?

Also, does anyone know any good resources or how-to's for bandana mods?:D

IT depends on how ya hooked them up. If you hook them in sreies, the voltage will double. If you hook them in parallel, the source amperage will be more, but the voltage will reamin equal between the two batteries..

sorry if it's an acient thread
