The APEX barrel are very nice barrel. They can some what increse range if u know how to use the Apex. My friends got one and he hasn't looked back since.

I use the Apex lots but to be honest its allot better on an aftermarket barrel. I have mine on a empire barrel kit right now.

I was thinking of getting a Lapco Barrel and having an Apex on it.

I just like the barrel kits because the apex works great with them and when you turn the apex "off" you have just as good of accuracy as anyone else on the feild.

The Apex with the barrel that it comes with from BT (ANY of them) is ****. You might as well throw the balls at the person for better accuracy. Slim's sugestion is the best advice for an Apex barrel. Get a damn good barrel kit, match the paint-to-bore (tight fit, but just tight enough that it requires a little force to blow it right through), and remember to turn off the Apex effect when it isn't needed.

If you do decide to go that route, Lapco has an Apex ready barrel.
