Not sure what to call it really but I was out this weekend playing with my e-frame blow back marker and it was firing three or four times every time I pulled the trigger...sounded like it was out of air and just burping but then it would recock. My air tank was full and all was good as far as I could see...any suggestions as to what to check?

Re: Burping...
Check your orings. Make sure they're all lubed well. You may want to replace them, just in case.

Check your frame to make sure it's securely attached to the gun. Sometimes the frame screws come loose which keeps the sear from catching the striker.

Check your sear. Make sure the edges aren't worn down. You should have a good sharp edge on it. If not, get out the sand paper and start sanding it.

You didn't say what gun or what upgrades you have on it. Does it have a reg? You may be starving your gun - chronograph and see how much speed you have. If it's low, turn up your reg.

Re: Burping...
It is actually the Rex-R2 I got from Opteron-O3 a few months ago, it is stock as far as I know. It has a delrin bolt and some type of cup-like seal on the striker. It does have a reg and I tried messing with that but it didnt seem to help. I think I am going to completely disassemble and clean everything and make sure it is all lubed up and give it another shot.

Re: Burping...
Rex R2... That's a blow-back, so if it isn't regulators then it must be springs (assuming that the marker is clean). Change out the battery for a brand spankin' new one, and turn out the velocity screw on the back of the marker.

Re: Burping...
I cleaned it pretty well last time I played, but I am going through it with a fine tooth comb this time. The battery is a recharagable one and I am not even sure if it can be replaced (hopefully that wont need to be done). And there is no velocity adjustment of any kind on the marker besides the regulator...

Re: Burping...
Recharge it fully for 8hrs, then. As for velocity adjustment, I'll do a little research for ya.
