new barrel?
 

i was looking for barrels for my raven primal... was thinking about purchasing a 14" j&j ceramic barrel. any insight on pro or cons would be nice

pro: just about everything
con: its one piece and not a barrel kit.

A J&J is a very good barrel manufacture, and the Ceramic is no exception. Especially for the price! Cons are simply that it isn't quite as good as the extremely high-end barrels like DYE Ultralites and Freaks.

Of course, if you have different bore sizes. :) Proper paint to bore match is better for accuracy than you'd believe. Personally, I don't care that much for accuracy, and a single bore (one pieces work fine, I have a 2 piece Ultralite, with only a large bore) works fine for me. If you do choose for only one bore, make sure it's large so you can use it for every type of ball.

I love my newly aquired dye Boomstick.

but might be a little expensive, but i got mine for $25 :D

try to find one used but not heavily damaged of course

but i absolutely LOVE the J&J ceramic barrels, on my top 5 list of best barrels

I just bought a new lucky un1tec from a guy on pbnation for 35 shipped. you should check them out, you can choose the back color and also the front bore size and color
