Been offered straightup trade, Marq 6 for my Ripper 3
 

Need help deciding...I've been offered this Marq 6, minus barrel, reg and ASA for my Ripper 3, minus barrel, reg, my grip panels (it'll go w/the contract killer panels) and ASA. I only have experience w/2 Marq's, one was awesome the other leaked and had all kinds of issues, so I'm not really sure what to think of them. Whatta you guys think, do it or not???

I would pass on the trade because your Ripper is sick and timmies are awesome. Although I don't really know much about Marqs.

And what is wrong with the Marq? Sounds odd a newer marker for an older one straight up.

:nutkick: What the hell're you thinking??? Do I need to steal a car and go down there??? It shoots damn well, it shoots damn straight, and it can shoot off a breath of air in the ASA... what the hell're you even THINKING of trading it for? Shame!!!

If you care how it is on air I would stick with ripper3, marq uses about 1000 psi per pod on a 45/45.

As far as value, there worth about the same.

My feeling exactly, the guy wants it really bad even offered up some gear as well, so that tells me either somethings wrong or he really wants the marker. I sent him extremely detailed photo's and a video showing it perform and that it did not have any leaks or issues, and insisted he do the same or forget it, he's supposed to be sending all that tomorrow so we'll see.

That's what I was hoping not to hear because the Ripper is ridiculously efficient and is one of the main things I like about it. Sounds like the Marq's efficiency is a bit worse than my A1's (not that those numbers are terrible).

Honestly dave said it best to me one time. If u don't need the money, don't want to try something new, and arn't tired of the gun don't get rid of it. Custom/personalised guns sell well if you, ever do decide to part with her.

I haven't heard that at all. I heard Marqs get nearly 1600 off of a 68.

My first one did. I really think Dave's experience with Marqs has been with ones that have been messed with.

Take the trade. Gen4's suck, and Marqs don't. Simple as that.
