Is it possible!?
Is there any possibility that i could fit a VL-prodigy E-grip on my Spyder body?
If it is possible, does it demand skill? Plz help, I am in the deal right now. It might expire soon.... |

No, I'm pretty sure they're not interchangeable. The VL has a different design than the Spyder as far as how the frame fits to the gun. It definitely wouldn't just click into place..

I got an answer at PBF from someone who pointed out that the VL-Prodigy E-grip can't do what I wanted it to do anyhow... So it really doesn't matter anymore. Thank U anyways for your quick answer! I really appreciate* it. *Bad spelling!? |
Re: Is it possible!?
Yes i can!!!!! Dont trust anyone who says you cant do something. There is one main diffrence from the Prodigy e-grip and the spyder one. Its a little notch in the plastic that the Viewloader guns have that the spyders dont all you need is a hack saw and a dremel and you can get it to fit. Im pretty sure of this seeing as i have a viewloader gun laying in front of me right now.

Re: Is it possible!?
i think he meant how it cant change modes. its basically a mech frame with electronic on/off and sear.

VL-Prodigy E-grip can't do that 3-shot burst I wanted so I gave up the idea. I dont get it why someone would want an electric frame that behaves like a mech... |
Re: Is it possible!?
it doesnt work anyways i tried it flattened everything out so it would bolt up and it fired uncontrollably the sear wouldnt catch the striker i messed with the sear and still couldnt get it properly but im sure its possible just couldnt see the point in doing hours and hours of work and testing for 8bps with my mako on its way
