what's the best way to regulate your air
 

do you guys have your ASA more open or closed?
and how is your velocity knob set?
i currently have my vel. knob decreased all the way and just adjust my ASA
to the point where the balls are between 270-300.

is this a bad method and if so what do you all use as far as ASA/vel. knob settings?

The best way to regulate your air is to use the Reg.(regualator) that comes on the gun.

and open your asa completely you should adjust the reg till your shooting 275-285 and use the velocity adjuster to fine tune it to 280

ok i'm a nob
when i have my asa open all the way the gun shoots "hot"
even if i have the velocity adjuster cranked all the way down it is still shooting "hot"
is this normal for a newer gun

no you need to turn the pressure down on the regulator
if that dpesn't work buy a spring kit and cut it down to vs2 size and use a softer spring
