Do you 'de-spring' your marker?

Does anyone else "de-spring" your markers for storage? I pull the bolt/striker assembly and the vertical adapter and remove the main and valve springs from ours when I know they're going to be put away for a while. I figure the springs will last longer that way.

That is, assuming your marker has springs...:yeahthat:

Wait - do you mean taking the spring completely out, or just de-cocking (is that a word? Too early in the morning!) your gun?

If you meant taking the spring out - the guns I have with a spring still have them in them and I haven't used them in quite a while. But, they aren't cocked.
