Halo V35 or Cheetah board?
Getting a Halo with V35 and Rip.
Should I change the board to a Cheetah and why or why not change it?

I have absolutely no experience with the Cheetah board but I know that they are riddled with problems. If you get one that works, they are fast as hell, but there are more out there that don't work than do. i was going to do a Cheetah Halo, but everything I read on them turned me away.

V35 is pretty fast anyway, so why change it?

While the Cheetah is better all around, the V35 is just fine. Now, a real upgrade would be to a Reloader B2 board so you can get rid of the eyes...

ok, cool. What kind of battery consumption can I expect from the V35?

Reasonable. If you get a dual 9V mod, it'll last you almost forever unless you're playing a tournament every weekend, both days, for a month. I'd estimate your battery life to be at least 15 days with how you play. With a single 9V, I'd estimate 6 days or so.

Re: Halo V35 or Cheetah board?
I had one of the very first Cheetah boards. It was amazing when it worked 100%, sometimes the eyes would stop working for no reason and i would have to shut it off and turn it back on. It was also picky about the motor it was attached to, it worked on one of my halos but refused to work on another.

I have also had the V35 a couple times and an angry board. I liked the angry board the best. Best board if you still want to use eyes IMO.

Reloader board is also great since it ditches the eyes but i had a few problems with one not always feeding right on my DM6.

Best setup would be to ditch sound and eyes all together and get the magna upgrade board with RF and never worry about feeding problems again.

Well, this is going into my warp feed so I don't need greater than 26 bps.

The Warp feed is mounted on my A5, so sound/vibration sensing is moot...lol.

Eyes/no eyes...well...most paints I use are light shelled paints of good-to-great quality.

I'm primarily concerned about battery consumption and just decided to run a dual 9V mod and fowghettabowdit :D
