I suspect the rules and regulations will be similar to last year's Spyder Cup. Old information can be found here: http://www.spyder.tv/spydercup/index.html.

Until Kingman releases new information, no one will know for sure what changes have been made.

I'll never play in that. They DQ'd my friends team because he had a T board.

Why? It's clearly stated in the rules that all gear and equipment must be Spyder/Kingman made. The very FIRST rule (both last year and this) is:

Spyder Markers Only
Every device used to propel a paintball during any Spyder Cup event must be a Spyder paintball marker and must be recognizable as such. Upgrades to the barrel, regulator, feed neck, grips, bolt, expansion chamber, and external cosmetics will be allowed as long as the marker can still be easily recognized as a Spyder marker and the basic functioning of the marker remains that of a Spyder. At no point may the Spyder name or logo on a marker be covered or removed.

Your friends should have never signed up if they were planning on using an illegal board (not Illegal illegal, just illegal for this tournament.) They were rightfully DQ'd in this case. It's not the tournaments fault for having guidelines and enforcing them - it is called the SPYDER CUP, after all. Do you advocate wiping, playing on and sandbagging as well?

The todao isn't kingman made. Did you read my post? It was a spyder, just had a spyder T board in it. They DQ'd quite a number of teams as a matter of fact. They are very, very vague on rules.

though, have you seen the "fields?" I don't think anyone at kingman plays paintball.

The new fields are better then the last ones and should make the games a little more exciting. And dude the Tadao boards were made from a contract deal with Tadao. Kingman asked them to make it, they made it, and now Kingman distributes it. Thus, the Tadao is Kingman. The T-board is not a Kingman distributed product. One way to tell that the Tadao is Kingmans is that the RSX comes with a Tadao.

The Spyder T Board is made by Scenario something or other and doesn't come stock with Spyders. The Tadao is made by Tadao, obviously, but contracted WITH Kingman this year to be added, STOCK, to their guns.

Did I read your post? I don't know, it's rather long.

Did you read my post? ;) (You've used that line a couple times, I've noticed. Just a head's up - yes, we do read your posts.)

Edit: Dang, th3 0n3 beat me to it!
