What do you charge to fill c02 bottles like 20oz 16 oz 12oz - I have a 50lb bottle from the welding shop - some guys around here go 5 bucks (CDN) per fill - Just wondering..

Forgot to add - Was charging $3 for 20's $2.50 for 16's and $2 for 12 and under - probably going to end up adding another buck to all. Barely recoup costs at this pricing - Field fills waste more, at home i throw the bottles in freezer first.

So far im on my third full size 50lb bottle for the year, have to buy a contract, so ya have to sell a certain amount of fills to even out. Main reason i got the fill station is for woodsball, guys were done playing when co2 ran out

Charge $3 flat for a fill, that would keep it cheap and yet still bring in profit.

I think the local commercial fields charge $4.50-$5.00 for a 20oz CO2 fill or $10 for all day air (N2 or CO2). Private local field fills CO2 for free but donations welcome.

The local shop in Wiscosin charges $3.00 for for any size tank. I charge $2.00 for any size tank but I have a really hard time getting people to pay. Your not going to get rich off filling tanks, it's more of a convience thing. Keep track of the sizes of the tanks and how many you fill. When the tank is out figure out how much of the tank is used. Remember that you wont get every ounce out of the tank, but that will give you an estimate of how much you actually used. Then charge accordingly. I try to make it so that I can at least pay for the next tank and maybe a couple of bucks more.

Decided to do $4.00 for 20 oz $3.50 for 16 oz and $3.00 for 12 oz and under. should just be able to break even and pay for bottle contract - like others say, way more convenient

one thing is the bottle contract cost a bit, Not sure if you can own your c02 antisyphon, they just swap me out. Seems to be the more c02 ya sell, the cheaper you can charge, splitting the cost of the bottle contract over more fills. Still not quite done 1 year of fills, will see where i end up
